Why Is There Two Pricing Structure?
In order to maintain fair listing fees, we have two parts to our pricing. The following is the pricing breakdown: Home listing fees begin at USD $60 per year, while tenant listing fees begin at USD $20.
Fees for Made-a-Match: Each member is required to pay $50 USD for each match discovered by us. Private transactions involving rental payments between members take place outside the website. There aren’t any extra costs, commissions, or unstated service fees. Academic members are qualified for a cheaper pricing tier for listing fees. Although they are payable in several currencies, all fees are indicated in US dollars. We keep our prices low because we think it’s crucial for academics and other like-minded people to be able to travel and exchange ideas.
We always strive to be open and honest in all we do, and we truly think that the personal information of our members should never be sold.
Real Estate Agents and Property Managers can create a limited number of listings on Ltlistings at a higher listing fee of USD $150 or equivalent currency. They are also subject to the same Made-a-Match Fees of USD $50 for each match made.
Annual Listing Fee
Listing fees must be paid in advance and remain valid for a duration of 12 months. During this period, listings can be edited and their visibility status can be changed (Visible, Private, or Hidden) as frequently as required. We do not automatically renew listings, but you will receive reminders to renew before the expiration date.
Registering an account and searching for listings on our website are completely free (though registration is required to view public profiles). As a potential tenant, you can contact someone who has posted a home listing once you have completed the registration process. On the other hand, hosts need to create a home listing before they can contact tenants or explore home exchange listings.
We offer two pricing options: academic pricing and non-academic pricing. To qualify for academic pricing, members need to submit an email address associated with a school, museum, or research institute. University alumni do not qualify for academic pricing, but scholars not currently affiliated with any academic organization, like retired academics, can sign up as Independent Scholars. Academic institutions and organizations have the opportunity to enter into a contract with Ltlistings, allowing their employees or members to post listings at reduced rates or even free of charge. Made-A -Match Fee
Each time you announce or confirm a match, a Made-a-Match Fee of USD $50 (or its equivalent) is required. A match is considered when you find a suitable home or tenant using our platform, verify references, and agree to a lease or contract with the other member.
You have the flexibility to announce or confirm matches from either the Matches dashboard or the Messages dashboard, depending on your preference and convenience.
Additionally, announcing or confirming a match also results in earning Trust Points. These Trust Points contribute to your overall Trust Score, showcasing your strong connection and active participation within the Ltlistings community.

Payments
You have the option to make secure online payments for Listing Fees or Made-a-Match Fees using either a credit card or PayPal. Our platform ensures a safe and convenient payment process for these fees.
If you choose to pay by check for a listing, simply select that payment option. Please note that your listing will become active and visible on Ltlistings once we receive your check payment, and it has been successfully processed.
